Record Europa League winners Sevilla are all set to battle it out against Roma in Wednesday night’s final in Hungary.

Sevilla have won the competition 6 times in their history, their last victory coming in 2016.

Meanwhile, Roma are seeking back to back European titles after winning the inaugural Conference League last season.

Sevilla booked yet another place in the final by edging Juventus 3-2 over a two-legged semifinal.

Sevilla have reached the final of the UEFA Europa League for the seventh time this season – more than any other team in the history of the competition.

Roma on the other hand held Bayer Leverkusen to a barren second leg to make it through courtesy of a 1-0 home win.

Eliminating both Manchester United and Juve en route, Sevilla’s success in the semis featured a 25th win from their last 28 Europa League matches.

Should Roma win, Jose Mourinho will become the most decorated manager in the long history of European competition.
