The 2019/20 Championship season comes to an end on Tuesday night as Brentford and Fulham battle it out for a place in the English top flight next season.

Dubbed the most expensive game in global football, it will be a tough test for both sides who got to the final after similar 3-2 two-legged victories against Welsh sides Swansea and Cardiff City FC.

Ahead of the most important game of the second division, here is all you need to know about either side.

What time does Brentford vs Fulham start?

The game is scheduled to kick off at 9:45 pm Kenyan time at Wembley.

Brentford vs Fulham team news

Josh Da Silva, who was left out of the last game against Swansea, might be the only change to the Brentford side going into the fixture.

Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Marcondes and Bryan Mbuemo were all pivotal to their recent win and should all get the nod to start.

For Fulham, the return of the recovered Aleksandar Mitrovic is the most notable change, as the Serb returns to lead the attack.

Brentford vs Fulham head to head

Fulham have not had it easy against Brentford, with their last victory coming in November 2016.

Brentford have won three of their last five encounters and the other two resulted in similar 1-1 draws.

Brentford vs Fulham current form

Brentford turned the tables round in the play-offs after completing their season with back to back losses to Stoke and Barnsley, which cost them automatic qualification.

Fulham on the other hand were on an eight-match unbeaten streak until the 2-1 loss to Cardiff in the second-leg of the playoffs.

Brentford vs Fulham prediction

This is arguably the most nerve-wrecking final in English football and with that comes a lot of uncertainty about the outcome.

Both teams are desperately seeking to be among the elite 20 in the English Premier League next season and thus will both get their names on the scoresheet.

Though, a Brentford victory or a draw could be the most possible outcome.
