Champions Liverpool will continue their quest for more English Premier League history as they travel to take on Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are out to break yet another record and they cannot afford to drop any points if they are to break Manchester City’s 100-point record.

Ninth-place Arsenal on the other hand will need to be on toes in order to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in a very hotly-contested London derby.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the mouth-watering midweek clash.

What time does Arsenal vs Liverpool start?

The game kicks off at 10:15 pm at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal vs Liverpool team news

The Gunners first choice keeper Bernd Leno, Gabriel Martinelli and Calum Chambers are set to miss the remainder of the season and Eddie Nketiah is out serving the second of his two-match suspension.

After his spectacular effort against Spurs, Alexandre Lacazette is expected to start to offer support to club top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Klopp has not done much rotation up front but Trent Alexander-Arnold should return to the starting line-up. Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, who is after the Golden Boot for a second straight season will definitely be part of the starting XI.

Arsenal vs Liverpool head to head

It is going to be a tough one for Arsenal who have not managed a league victory against the visitors since a 4-1 thrashing back in 2015.

Liverpool have won 3 of their last five encounters, with the other two ending in 1-1 and 3-3 draws respectively.

Overall, Liverpool have won 89 games against the Gunners, superior to the 79 they have lost in the fixture.

Arsenal vs Liverpool current form

Both sides have only lost once in their last five matches with the home side losing 2-1 to Spurs over the weekend.

Arsenal vs Liverpool prediction

Seeing as this has been a record-breaking season for the Champions as they broke a 30-year duck to clinch the title, it is impossible to assume that they will take their foot off the gas.

Arsenal’s form against top teams has not been the best this season and though we can count on them to score, they are up against the second-highest scoring team in the league.

Over 2.5 goals in this game is almost a guarantee for this particular game.
