The Derby d’Italia returns this Sunday in arguably the biggest game of the European football weekend as Juventus host Inter Milan.

Bragging rights as well as the first piece of silverware in the Italian football season is up for grabs on Wednesday night.

Serie A winners Inter Milan will battle it out against Coppa Italia winners Juventus to decide the fate of the Supercoppa Italiana.

This week’s encounter will be just the second Derby d’Italia in the Supercoppa, after the 2005 edition, lending the evening an even greater sense of occasion.

Inter Milan, currently at the top of the Serie A standings, kicked off 2022 with a 2-1 win over Lazio on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Juventus consolidated their fifth place in the league standings with a thrilling 4-3 win at Roma.
