Posta broke the deadlock just ten minutes when Jackson Dwang’ unleashed a thunderbolt past helpless Kevin Oduor.
Twenty minutes later a quick start by Oduor would prove costly as Captain John Otieno lost possession with Caleb delivering a pinpoint pass to Brian Otieno who wasted no time slotting it home for the two goal lead at halftime.
Nairobi United Coach Nicholas Muyoti would respond with a triple substitution at halftime introducing Michael Karamor, Shami Kibwana and Ovella Ochieng’ in place of Frank Ouya, Isaac Omweri and Majaliwa Charo.
The substitution would almost have an instant impact as Karamor came close to half the deficit but his effort was saved by Bixente from close range.
United’s best effort of the day would come 10 minutes to full-time as substitute Musa Mohammed fouled Shami Kibwana in the box with the referee awarding a penalty that was meticulously saved by Bixente to maintain the two goal lead at Full-time.
