The only midweek SportPesa League match brings with it a potential relegation battle blockbuster as newcomers APS Bomet vs Ulinzi Stars clash.
The rescheduled match will be played on Wednesday at the Green Stadium in Kericho at 1pm.
Bomet have found it thought to adapt to life in the Kenyan topflight, managing just seven points from their opening five matches.
Their poor run of performances leaves them rooted to the bottom of the table, one point less than their opponents Ulinzi.
Ulinzi have not won in their last seven games and despite playing the bottom team, interim coach Stephen Ocholla’s charges will need to be at their best to avoid defeat.
Bomet’s last outing resulted in a 1-1 stalemate against Mathare United, courtesy of a stoppage time Hansel Ochieng’ equalizer.
Ulinzi on the other hand were not so fortunate as they narrowly lost 1-0 to Shabana, a fourth defeat in their last five games.

Their only win this season was a 1-0 victory against Murang’a Seal in September and remain the lowest scoring team in the league, finding the back of the net a meagre five goals.
A win for either side will lift them out of the relegation zone as both teams seek to turn their fortunes around.
This will be the first competitive meeting between these two teams since Bomet gained promotion after winning the National Super League last season.
