This week’s Midweek Jackpot will be played over two days from 4-5 September. The first match will be played on Thursday at 5 PM and the last will kick off on Friday at 10:30 PM.

Spartak Kostroma vs Ural

This top-of-the-table clash in the Russian second-tier will mark the start of the Midweek Jackpot this week when the two sides lock horns at the Stadion Urozhay.

The visiting Ural sit at the summit of the table on 18 points while the hosts are just two points behind in fourth place after seven matches played.

Hosts Spartak Kostroma will be looking to close that gap as they head into the match on a six-match unbeaten streak (5W 1D).

On the other hand, Ural have won their last two games after their defeat against Torpedo Moscow on 18 August.

Georgia vs Turkey

These two sides will be hoping to get their FIFA World Cup 2026 dream off to the perfect start when they kickstart their  Group E qualifying campaign at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena.

Georgia will be gunning to write some piece of history as they have never made a World Cup appearance. They will take motivation from qualifying for the Euro 2024 tournament where they reached the Round of 16 and from the fact that they have avoided defeat in 7 of their 10 matches (W5 D2).

Turkey on their part will also be out to get a bright start after a successful 24/25 Nations League campaign saw them get promoted to League A for the first time.

It is Turkey who boast of a superior head-to-head record as they have four victories in their previous six meetings (D1 L1).
